HI THERE, I'M KIM!
I'm a passionate researcher, educator and author living in Esperance, Western Australia. I have taught learners aged 5 to 95 how to use digital technologies. I'm a former primary & secondary school Digital Technologies teacher, and run regular STEM/STEAM workshops throughout the Esperance-Goldfields region.
In 2017, I launched an innovative cyber safety book series, The Tweeting Galah. This collection of illustrated books are designed to educate children on how to be safe and happy online.
I work as a Lecturer and Researcher at Curtin University, and am a member of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child.
